	Georgina Hunt 1922 – 2012 obituary
	Georgina Hunt studied at the Slade. She lived and worked in London and was a member of The London Group. She exhibited widely and received national and international awards.
Her large square canvases evoke a feeling of calm and her distinctive achievement was in liberating colour from the constraints of imagery. Her work is held internationally in public and private collections. ‘These paintings are rich in the mysteries of space and light and in all their apparent simplicity how very beautiful they are.’
